The Tone Secret recreates the sonic DNA of the most iconic users of the green screamer heard on countless studio recordings and live performances without the need for a cranked mid-scooped amplifier to run the pedal into. The TS only utilizes 50% of the gain found in a traditional green OD pedal; however, the added pre-overdrive and post overdrive controls allow you to tweak the OD characteristics to match any amplifier and simulate amp break-up without dime-ing the “DRIVE” knob on your pedal. Additionally, we’ve added individual controls for treble and mid-range frequencies, along with our “GRIT” control to dial in the ratio of your amp’s natural break-up in tandem with the overdrive produced by the Tone Secret. Vertex Effects has you covered with the NYLE compressor: a compressor-preamp hybrid. The NYLE compressor marries the classic studio rack compressors of the 70's & 80's with a vintage Mic Pre, putting the legendary clean tone of the likes of Prince or Nile Rogers directly at your feet. The top row of knobs & toggles control the compressor side of the NYLE, offering traditional volume and sustain controls as well as ratio to control the blend of your dry and compressed signal. The three-way attack toggle switch allows you to control the sensitivity of the compressor, offering subtle to ultra-squashy compression. Additionally, you can use the three-way treble toggle switch to dial in high frequencies that best suit your rig. The bottom three knobs control the mic pre circuit, giving you control of the volume, EQ, and gain. The EQ adjusts the low-mid frequencies of your signal to bring out the warmth of the preamp circuit. If you have been on the hunt for that classic funk clean tone or glassy bass tone, the NYLE Compressor will put an end to your journey, offering compression, EQ shaping, and level control in one humble enclosure.

Analog Studio-Grade Compressor

"Vintage Voiced" Mic Preamp

100% Mechanical True Bypass

Designed in California

Lifetime Warranty

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0343/4368/2183/products/vertex-effects-effects-and-pedals-compression-and-sustain-vertex-effects-nyle-compressor-vertexnc-17220791173255.jpg?v=1646053869
vertex-ultraphonix-hrm-overdrive-hot-rodded-marshall-847987
Vertex Ultraphonix HRM Overdrive (Hot Rodded Marshall) Edition
From Vertex:

Ultra-Phonix HRM recreates the much sought after Dumble™ HRM overdrive tone that pushed the tweaked Overdrive Special Amplifier into stardom. The Tone Secret recreates the sonic DNA of the most iconic users of the green screamer heard on countless studio recordings and live performances without the need for a cranked mid-scooped amplifier to run the pedal into. The TS only utilizes 50% of the gain found in a traditional green OD pedal; however, the added pre-overdrive and post overdrive controls allow you to tweak the OD characteristics to match any amplifier and simulate amp break-up without dime-ing the "DRIVE" knob on your pedal. Additionally, we've added individual controls for treble and mid-range frequencies, along with our "GRIT" control to dial in the ratio of your amp's natural break-up in tandem with the overdrive produced by the Tone Secret. If you're looking for a screaming OD pedal that nails the classic and contemporary sounds heard on your favorite records, look no further than the Tone Secret.

DNA of a classic "Screamer" hitting a "Blackface" 12AX7 preamp

Uber versatile drive voicing with Pre-Vol, Grit, & Master Vol controls

True Bypass

Designed in California

9VDC center-negative power operation (adapter not included)

Please Note: The item displayed in the images may not be the actual item you receive.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0343/4368/2183/products/vertex-effects-effects-and-pedals-overdrive-and-boost-vertex-effects-tone-secret-od-overdrive-pedal-vertexts-ukt-28385290322055.jpg?v=1651492938
vertex-steel-string-clean-drive-1009162
Vertex Steel String Clean Drive

Condition: Item is subject to minor wear from use.

The Steel String Clean Drive faithfully recreates the tonality and feel of the iconic Dumble Steel String Singer amplifier in a stompbox format. Additionally, you have total volume control by connecting the Boost with any EXP pedal or Volume Pedal (with insert cable adapter shown below) and adjusting your volume as you would with a volume pedal. When the Boost is OFF, the EXP will function as a typical volume pedal (sweeping from silent to unity gain). When the Boost is ON, the EXP will control the boosted volume (sweeping from silent to wherever the level knob is set). Whether you're front-ending a stage amp with the SRV's expanded all-analog preamp, feeding a little Texas sugar into your Amp Modeler, or even running straight into a Cab Simulator/IR Loader, this pedal is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Just like the amp it's named after, the Steel String Supreme (SRV) is characterized by a fat and glassy tones sound that absolutely marinates signals in tubelike harmonics as you ramp up the gain. The SRV's active EQ and Bright/Deep + Rock/Jazz switches add new tone-shaping capabilities from the original SSS and bring you a bit more available top end "glass" and a little more low-end "snap" to this latest addition to the Steel String family.
