Walter Höfner invented the legendary violin bass back in the 1950s. Since the 1980s, our “Shorty” has enjoyed great popularity, both as a guitar and as a bass. The new Shorty Violin Bass is the result of these two success stories. In the style of its legendary predecessors, it combines the charm and the solidbody construction of our “Shorty” with the vintage flair of a real violin bass. The new, flatter Shorty Bass neck profile ensures optimal playability. The end result is a compact instrument with an amazingly big sound!

Body: Mahogany
Neck: Maple
Fretboard: Rosewood
Nut width: 42 mm
Scale: 760 mm
Frets: 24
Tuning Machines: Open vintage machine heads
Controls: Volume and tone
Knobs: Original Hofner Tea Cup
Bridge: Fixed
Pickup: 1 Höfner humbucker
Hardware: Chrome
Gig Bag: Includes

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0343/4368/2183/products/hofner-bass-guitars-short-scale-hofner-shorty-violin-bass-sunburst-hofner-shorty-violin-bass-sunburst-hof-hct-shvb-sb-fd1-1017796325.jpg?v=1768278711
