The SJ-200 Standard 2019 is the newest version of the "king of the flattops," hand-built with maple back and sides and a sitka spruce top with traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing. Everything about this guitar screams classic, from the rounded neck profile to the pickguard, but Gibson knows that's not enough for today's guitarist. They round it out with an LR Baggs Anthem pickup system, making it a versatile choice for the modern player.

About Gibson Montana:
Luthier Orville Gibson founded the Gibson Mandolin-Guitar Mfg. Co. Ltd. in Kalamazoo, MI in 1902. Its original aim was to make mandolins and mandolin-family instruments. Over the last 100-plus years, Gibson Brands, Inc., as it is now known, has since evolved into the world's premier manufacturer of semi-hollow and hollow body electric guitars, as well as a celebrated portfolio of innovative solid-body and acoustic models.

"Some people hear their own inner voices with great clearness. And they live by what they hear. Such people become crazy... or they become legend." So wrote Montana author Jim Harrison, perhaps about the master luthiers of Gibson Montana, which produces all of Gibson's acoustic guitars.

Body Shape: SJ-200
Top: Sitka Spruce
Back and Side Wood: Maple
Bracing: Traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing
Binding: Multi-ply top, multi-ply back
Finish: Nitrocellulose

Neck Material: Two-piece maple
Neck Profile: Round
Scale Length: 25.5''
Fingerboard Material: Rosewood
Fingerboard Radius: 12''
Number of Frets: 20
Frets: Standard
Nut Material: Tusq
Nut Width: 1.725''
Inlays: Mother-of-pearl Graduated Crowns
Neckjoint: Compound dovetail neck-to-body joint

Tuner Plating: Gold
Bridge: SJ-200 Moustache, Rosewood
Saddle Material: Tusq
Tuning Machines: Grover Rotomatics w/ Kidney Buttons
Pickguard: SJ-200
Truss Rod Cover: B/W
Bridge Pins: Tusq

Pickup: LR Baggs Anthem
Controls: Volume, Mix, Phase, Battery Check

Strings: 0.053, 0.042, 0.032, 0.024, 0.016, 0.012
Case: Gibson Hardshell
Other: Includes Gibson Accessory Kit
Please Note: The item displayed in the images may not be the actual item you receive.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0343/4368/2183/products/gibson-acoustic-guitars-jumbo-gibson-montana-sj-200-standard-vintage-sunburst-sj20vsg19-ukt-17363487785095.jpg?v=1647818225
https://www.chicagomusicexchange.mom/en-mx/products/gibson-montana-sj-200-standard-vintage-sunburst-1035720
