The Gretsch Masterbuilder took it upon himself to do the rest and turned out this retro masterpiece, equipped with an Adjust-O-Matic bridge and "G" cutout tailpiece, inlaid script logo, ebony fingerboard, and dual ThroBak SLE-101 humbucking pickups.

But, as Stephen Stern insists, building this was–and always is–a team effort. Stern jokes that he's "merely the conductor of the orchestra," and credits the Gretsch Custom Shop's success to the talented team aiding the Masterbuilders in each part of a guitar's construction.

As with music itself, the best always comes from a marriage of minds working in harmony. It starts with an idea, then the drive to develop and pursue it, followed finally by the know-how to execute. It happens the same way in the everyday collaboration that makes the Gretsch Custom Shop what it is, and the Ebony Caddy Bo, just like a beautiful melody, is proof.

Part Number: 9252003717
Serial Number: UC20102040
Weight: 7lbs 4.4oz
Aging Type: Relic
Case: Hardshell Case

Body Style: Caddy-Bo
Top Wood: African Mahogany
Body Wood: African Mahogany
Color: Ebony
Body Binding: Cream
Neck Wood: African Mahogany
Fretboard Wood: Ebony
Fretboard Inlay: Aged Nitro Thumbnails
Neck Binding: Cream
Headstock Perimeter: '54 Duo Jet-style
Headstock Logo: "Gretsch" Script
Headstock Logo Material: Mother-of-Pearl
Zero Fret: No
Frets: Vintage
Side Dots: Cream
Neck Shape: Stock "C"
Nut: Bone

Hardware: Aged Gold
Wiring: Tone Pot w/Treble Bleed
Tuners: Imperials
Neck Pickup: ThroBak SLE-101 Humbucker
Bridge Pickup: ThroBak SLE-101 Humbucker
Knobs: "G" Arrow
Bridge: Adjust-O-Matic, No Base
Tailpiece: "G" Cut-Out
Pickguard Engraving: Black
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0343/4368/2183/products/gretsch-electric-guitars-solid-body-gretsch-custom-shop-ebony-caddy-bo-relic-w-ebony-fingerboard-throbak-sle-101-pickups-masterbuilt-by-stephen-stern-9252003717-uc20102040-17627035893.jpg?v=1647758834
https://www.chicagomusicexchange.mom/en-mx/products/gretsch-custom-shop-ebony-caddy-bo-relic-webony-fingerboard-951894
