Conceived and built with a "one-off" mentality aiming to deliver heirloom-quality musical instruments, all PRS Private Stock instruments boast unprecedented levels of customization.

As Paul Reed Smith himself has said: “They are simultaneously musical instruments, pieces of art, tools to joyfully spend time with, and treasured possessions. The goal of Private Stock is not only to create the most beautiful and best-playing guitar money can buy, but the best sounding. If you decide on a Private Stock guitar, we will give everything we have to make it the best instrument you’ve ever experienced.”

Woods
CME’s premium guitar-buying team works closely with the Private Stock team to select tonewoods from the private stash in “the vault” outside Paul’s office at the PRS headquarters. Like a fingerprint, each piece of wood housed in “the vault” is slightly different in figure, weight, and hue—each serving as the unique sonic and visual foundation of every PRS Private Stock instrument.

Finishes
Highlighting the elegance and figure of the woods we chose, the finish on every PRS Private Stock guitar imbues each with its own personal aesthetic, making a definitive visual statement.

Inlays
From the design itself to the materials used, the PRS Private Stock program offers nearly infinite inlay options and combinations to personalize each instrument.

Cases
Every Private Stock instrument comes with a case chosen not only to protect the instrument but to reflect the attention to detail and the aesthetically arresting instrument it holds.

Private Stock #: 9436
Weight: 6 lbs 13 oz

Top Wood: 1pc Curly Maple
Back Wood: Mahogany

Top Color: Faded Pomegranete
Back Color: Antique Natural
Neck Color: Antique Natural
Binding: Antique Natural
Finish: High Gloss Nitro

Neck Wood: Figured Mahogany
Fingerboard Wood: Cocobolo
Scale Length: 25"
Fingerboard Inlays: J Birds
Outline Material: Paua
Center Material: Pink Ivory
Side Dots: Black
Radius: 10"
Fret Wire: Private Stock
# of Frets: 24
Neck Shape: Pattern Regular
Veneer Wood: Cocobolo
Veneer Inlays: J Private Stock Eagle
Outline Material: Paua
Center Material: Pink Ivory

Tuning Pegs: Tweaked Phase III Locking
Tuner Buttons: Curly Maple- stained
Bass Pick-Up: 58/15
Treble Pick-Up: 58/15
Pickup Bobbins/ Covers: Nickel Covers w/ Gold Screws
Electronics: Vol /Tone w/ 5-Way Blade
Hardware Color: Mixed
Bridge: Gen III Tremolo
String Gauge: 10
Truss Rod Cover: Cocobolo
Backplates: Mahogany

Case: Private Stock Brown Leather

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0343/4368/2183/products/prs-electric-guitars-semi-hollow-prs-private-stock-9436-custom-24-semi-hollow-faded-pomegranate-1-piece-curly-maple-w-cocobolo-fingerboard-prsps9436-0341789-29174455632007.jpg?v=1650051134
https://www.chicagomusicexchange.mom/products/prs-private-stock-9436-custom-24-semi-hollow-faded-1185959
