Description
Built from an authentic payphone handset and wired as a standard dynamic microphone, this unit delivers that iconic, gritty "telephone" tone naturally, with no plugins or post-processing required. This model adds an integrated momentary push-to-talk (PTT) switch for instant control. The mic stays completely silent until you press and hold the button, then cuts the signal the moment you let go. Rugged, simple, and built for the stage or studio, it's ideal for front-of-house (FOH) talkback, control room-to-live room communication, creative live vocal effects, and anywhere you want that unmistakable payphone sound with push-button control.
KEY FEATURES
- Momentary Push-to-Talk (PTT) Switch: Active only while the button is held. Release it and the signal cuts instantly.
- Built for Talkback: Ideal for FOH engineers, control rooms, and studio communication without leaving an open mic running.
- Standard Dynamic Microphone: No batteries or phantom power required.
- 32" Metal Shielded Cable: XLR male termination; unbalanced output.
- "Vandal Proof" ABS Handset: Rugged payphone-style construction.
- Frequency Response: 300-3400 Hz
- Impedance: 150 +/- 30 ohm at 1 kHz
