Description

A proud dreadnought with a classic pre-war burst – and a tone to match. The D70H is powerful, with broad, resonant projection and superb clarity for a big guitar. Premium tonewoods – solid North American Sitka spruce with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides – combine with our VFA1 bracing system for a strong, clear low end and singing trebles.

RK Standard Series
This carefully curated line of all-solid guitars evokes deeply iconic instruments of the ‘Golden Era’ through traditional pre-war stylings and a genuine attention to every detail.

RK Standard guitars deliver classic voicing with clarity and dynamics thanks to meticulous weighted struts and bracing patterns. They are open, resonant and responsive to each playing style, from a heavy pick to the lightest fingerstyle touch.

Every RK Standard model is thermo-cured. After months of traditional curing, tops and other components are baked at a precise temperature to remove moisture and volatiles and begin the aging process, which improves stability, clarity and tone. Polished bullet-end frets, hand-selected rosewood fingerboards and slim tapered necks elevate the playing experience even further.

The finish is what we call “low-gloss”: a flat, super-thin coat that sits between satin and gloss, with a subtle silk-like sheen. Slim bindings, small pre-war-style tuner bushings and real abalone inlays complete the premium, classic character of the series.

Each RK Standard model ships with a deluxe 25mm gig bag with embroidered logos.
